about us
In 2011, we adopted an Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix named Max, from Williamsburg BK-based shelter BARC. Max was our first dog, and currently still holds the mantle as our “gateway” so to speak. Soon followed many additional furry creatures that became permanent fixtures in our home, a pre-war two story brickstone house located in Park Slope.
The Toy Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix named Ace entered our lives in early 2013. He was a rejected designer dog who was found emaciated and abandoned before being rescued. We found him on PetFinder and proceeded out to Mahwah, NJ to pick him up at the stroke of midnight one cold Friday night in February.
Ace left our world for the rainbow bridge in late 2017 after succumbing to kidney disease, though he had beaten cancer years before. He lived sixteen long years and five of them were with us in his forever home, feeling happy and safe. Ace is still deeply missed, for his determined character, and unequivocally good natured personality. He loved both people and other dogs, be they strange or familiar.
At Ace’s Place, we promise to look after your buddies like our very own, feeling equally happy and safe with both humans and other dogs alike. We’re more than just a doggy daycare. Since 2019, Ace’s Place has been a haven of toys, blankets, and space to run around both indoors and out. Take a closer look on IG - @acesplacefaces
rates & Services
10-hour Daycare - $40-45*/Day
Your pet will receive a walk, playtime out back, and constant cuddles throughout the day. There’s plenty of space for napping, and we have a large, private backyard that is tightly secured.
12-hour daycare - $45-50*/day
All of the same as the 10 Hour Daycare option, plus dinner and a walk either before or after. Dinner at Ace’s Place is always 6pm every night, so please make sure to pack a meal!
overnight boarding - $60-65*/Night
Your pets will receive all the care included in the daycare option. Overnight care will include dinner, another walk before bed, a walk when they wake up, and breakfast.
HALF DAy session - $30-35*
Similar to daycare, for as little as three hours a time during weekdays, or as many as five hours at a time during weekends. Strongly recommended for first time guests!
Pick-up - $10
We can pick up your pet in the morning if they will be with us for daycare, or at another pre-arranged time if they are boarding overnight.
Drop-Off - $10
We can drop off your pet around 6pm after daycare is over, or at another convenient time if they are boarding with us.
If you need to a cancel a booking, please notify no later than 24 hoursahead of your dog's arrival or you will be charged the going rate.* Pets weighing over 50 lbs are charged the higher rate
